DISCOVERING YOURSELF IN EYEGLASSES

eyeglasses with eyechart

Discovering that you need eyeglasses can be an emotional experience. The realization that your eyesight is not perfect can be a blow to your self-esteem. Despite newer and more fashionable frames, glasses can seem like a terrible intrusion on your face. You might even have trouble recognizing yourself in the mirror behind even the most stylish frames.

For some people the thought of having to wear glasses may make them feel sad bringing back memories from their own childhood days of a classmate who wore glasses and was teased or called "four eyes" by playmates. The key is to develop a positive attitude toward wearing glasses, and realize that the glasses will make an important difference in one’s eyesight. Also keep in mind that you now have opportunity to expand your world, a chance to see better and the ability to get information more efficiently.
So when you’re ready to discover yourself in eyeglasses,  www.eyeglasses.com offers customers the convenience of direct ordering glasses from their computer with the best service, selection, and price for glasses and lenses and they have those hard-to-find retro glasses or vintage glasses, frames you just can't find in retail outlets or the leading national chains. I don’t think it was a blow to my self-esteem, but I was somewhat annoyed when I realized that my perfect vision was no longer perfect and had to begin wearing reading glasses. I notice too, that only after I put them on do my eyes get blurry and I can barely see any printed text.

Thanks for the info I’ve checked out the eyeglass.com sight and they have a very large selection. I’m going to order some sunglasses.

  2. C Solutions, thank you for reading and commenting on the blog. Perhaps you consider getting the prescription in your reading glasses checked, it may be too strong, which is perhaps what’s causing the blurriness. I hope you enjoy the new sunglasses.
